  • An Australian actor, star of Braveheart and the Mad Max movies, also known as the Road Warrior movies which are continually ripped off by newer pictures.

What do Australians call a cellular phone

  • A mobile.

What is a Lamington?

  • A cake dipped in chocloate and coconut.

What is a pub crawl?

  • A group of people having a drink at several hotels in succession.

Paul Hogan (Crocodile Dundee) used the expression "Put another shrimp on the barbie" What does this mean?

  • The word shrimp is never used in Australia, the entire thing was made up for the American market. Paul Hogan has not advertised a product inside Australia since 1980 - and I sometimes wonder why.
