Be a part of the definitive '50s era event. Now in its 13th year the Fifties fair has grown to become the most comprehensive and engaging '50s celebration on Sydney's cultural calendar, set against the striking Modernism of Harry Seidler's Rose Seidler House.
This year's main stage entertainment program will be led by Melbourne band The Detonators plus sensational crooner Grant Galea, '50s DJ, dance demos, street theatre and the Fifties fair fashion awards that give all of us the excuse to dress up '50s style and be in with a chance to win a prize.
Collectors will be in retro heaven browsing the many specialist stalls, while the kids will enjoy our special '50s for kids area offering crafts, Punch and Judy, and hula hoop workshops. With vehicle displays, heaps of food and even a hairdresser to give you the complete '50s look, you really can go back to the fifties just for one day.
The house will be open for inspection and a free shuttle bus will operate between Turramurra train station and Rose Seidler House for the duration of the event.
